Let’s connect and work together!

Raisa M. Galofre Cortés is a Colombian-Caribbean artist, photographer and researcher working between Berlin, Germany and Barranquilla, Colombia. Her photographic work includes a visual exploration of the Latin American Magic Realism as a means to re-visit and question established narratives and constructs, representations of gender, identity and historical events by developing new non-western narratives.

Her photography embraces the clash, mixture and encounter of the opposites: real and fantastic, rational and mythical elements, which she translates into staged photographs and photographic sculptures.
